When shut. my hood is flush with the fender at the front, then slopes down a bit towards the rear edge, ending up a half-inch low right where the hinge is. There is a large vertical bolt sticking up that looks like a height adjuster except is a plain hex head, no rubber pad etc. From looking at the underside of the hood, no contact has ever been made, no scrapes or scuffs.
I need to raise the rear edge of the hood a little, it's too tight for the wiper blades to settle when stopped, they rub the back edge of the hood.
Is it hinge bolts that need to move or something else?
