I know this is already probably on here, but I can't find it. So my question is what wires on the key ignition are the power like when the key is in the on position and it turns on all accessories. I'm trying to hook up a switch and a push button. I don't want to use the key anymore

why would you want to do that?....We had an ignition switch and push button start on our race cars but we were not worried about someone stealing them. Do you not use your key for your doors and trunk? Maybe you can ask Alexa or Siri to start your car....

Your comment made me think of those 'proximity keys' that the new cars have. I can't stand those things for many reason - those things should be against the law..

My friend's wife suv has one of those and she drove a few miles from the house and shut it down, everything was fine until she tried to start it cause she did not have the fob with her. My friend was out of town so she had to get a cab to go home to get the fob and then taxi it back to her vehicle.

WOW just wow, I was thinking of the safety implications too. I really don't understand what it so hard about starting the car with a real key...
