Does anybody have this exact headlight switch knob? I can't get it off. I have looked at all the videos saying " it's so easy, just press the button on the top, and it will release it". I can barely get myself under there ( I have the seats out ), and I can't find any button. I can barely see under there, and it seems like the switch is surrounded by plastic. I've had to walk away several times yesterday, and today...I'm pissed.. It's the only thing holding me up from removing the dash assembly. I'm about to saw off the knob, so I can get the gauge bezel off and continue.... Any advice??

See that little keyway..does that have anything to do with it?

As you can see, I've already removed the round nut, so I could move the bezel as much as I could, hoping to see better back behind...

So here's what seems to be the switch. And clearly, there is a button. I'm going to try again.. does anyone know which way the switch is oriented, so I can focus on top, bottom, or side?? Thanks!

When you pull the knob out to turn the headlghts to the on position, don't yank it out too hard. Sometimes the button won't depress completely and you won't get the stem to slide out. I have had success by pulling to the full one position, and then pushing the stem in ever so slightly. Then press the button and remove the knob/stem. Unless you have some freakshow of a headlight switch. I do not know which way it is oriented, but you probably need to get the wire plug out of the way to gain better access. You'd think 5 year olds put them in because normal adult hands never have enough room in there.

Good luck.
