Doing some work to clean up the firewall. I haven't worked with filler etc much at all but its going ok I think. I rebuilt the passenger side section of the upper cowl where the factory ac/heater would have had that ledge for the cowl to hood seal.

Nice job man! Nice metal/welding skills. I also took out my a/c box on my 82, but because it was in 4 broken pieces...-lol and bought the same heater box. It works fantastic by the way. Hand made grilles for the windshield vents tho. Also about to take mine off the frame as well cuz i have the same rot spot on the floor board..... put a brand new front floor in already, but that area by the body mount seems to be a typical area. Gonna have to hand fabricate some replacement pieces there as well..

Very nice! What seats did you have in there before?
I have some original buckets from a g-body, not sure which/year. They were recovered when the interior was done and are super comfy but still seem to keep your but planted.

Been going back and forth between building my own kit or going with the CX Racing twin turbo kit. Leaning towards CX right now since this will be my first turbo build. Only real reason to do my own that I can see at his point would be to change routing/turbo location but I think their kit looks pretty good.

Started cleaning up the gas tank. Had a nice thick layer of undercoating on most of it. I think I have a cool plan to replace fuel level sender and install a pump with fuel tray to support around 800-900hp. More on that soon. Getting the dash cluster figured out...Blanked out the wiper switch, it's on the 82 column instead of the 69 dash. Made a panel to remount the aftermarket heater controls. Stuck a modern head unit in there for tunes via bluetooth. Need some LEDs for indicators I suppose. Laid down a coat of Eastwood 2k satin chassis black on the firewall.
