Sbc Hooker Competition headers for a gbody and 2nd gen Camaro have the same part number. The SuperComps do not. I found a great deal on 2nd gen SuperComps and was wondering if I could make them work on my El Camino.

Hooker Super Comp 2242's wrap the frame, Hooker Super Comp 2150's do not wrap the frame.
Not sure about the difference between F body and G body Super Comps. But having both the 2150 Super Comps in one 79 Monte Carlo and a set of regular Competition Hookers in the blue 79 Monte Carlo, the Super Comps run 2 tubes a little different that makes service and plug removal much easier.
I spent $750 on ceramic coated hooker super comps on my GMC K10 and they rusted up just sitting in the driveway. Must have 100 miles on them.

I've had several sets of "ceramic coated" headers from different manufacturers, and it's a joke. They rust- period You're best bet is to drop money on the best stainless you can find (409?) because even the cheap grade stainless (309?) will develop surface rust.
