Is anyone else shocked/not shocked or confused about the current G body market and prices

Totally Agree! I "get" giving suggestions or advice to ones that need it or ask, but when grown adults act like little babies telling others what to do with THEIR car and if they don't, and/or bash them with an entire new vocabulary because of what they did to their ride thats not conforming to their own personal views....really? I guess i don't get that mentality of people, their own self educed righteousness that truly makes them look ridiculous.

Interestingly, the ad says 6 cylinders, the tag lines say V6, yet he claims it's a 5.0. Depending on when the car was built, it may not even have been able to receive a V8. There was a time in 84 production they had a shortage of V8s and only the big cars and the Hurst/Olds were able to be excluded from that V8 restriction at the time. They did make V8 Cutlasses in 84, but again, it just depends on when it was built.

It's not just Vette owners. At the local Cars & Coffee last month, I at least asked if I could park next to a guy. He said he was expecting his buddy (who never showed up) but I was like, "Okay, thanks" and found another space.

You should scope him out at the next cruise and wave the article about your beautiful wagon in his face lol maybe he would think twice about turning down someone famous now :) lol

I was looking around FB earlier, there seems to be more want ads for g bodies than there are cars showing up for sale. Going through searchtempest and FB marketplace here are far less now than there have been the last few months.... :(

I agree completely with the LS swap guys comment. I sometimes think the GN crowd lost some a-holes to the LS swap crowd. It's a funny idea that an engine somehow makes you or your car superior.

Well now... as a former Turbo Buick owner turned LS snob I feel triggered by this comment!

In my opinion the only thing that makes a car superior is its time slip/lap time and/or the amount of miles it gets driven each year (because stone chips are the greatest trophies).
