Finally was able to get the goat back together, the donut in the rear was bad and sheared off one of the bolts. Man was it a pain to get replacement bolts since GM discontinued the actual set since they used torqs on 3 and then nut and bolted 3 of them. Ended up finding replacements online finally after nobody local had M12x1.5x60 or even nuts for them. So I got some extras I suppose

We finished up some details on an engine build I've been helping with. This is a first for me on one of these & I've been wanting to see one go together. I'll be helping do another in the next few weeks as well. This is going into a '31 Model-A. The motor that was in the car had a slight oil leak....

Kinda surprised you're not making one. Those VOCs are like 'roids- eventually you'll be doing squats barefoot on broken glass (or is that meth?).

Believe me - I thought about it. Time is such a huge commodity for me right now with family-school-work-family-school

And yes, meth - lots of meth.

Didn’t so much do anything today as I did Saturday and forgot to post it. Replaced a near 30 year old well pump:

4 people and 5 hours got that done pretty well, the pump must of been replaced at some point prior, because the pipe has a manufacture date of 1977.

I’m also chasing gremlins in the daily, if it’s under decent load, around 48% calculated according to my scanner, and 80% throttle, it loses signal to all 4 oxygen sensors until I leave off the gas. The shop scanner says bank 1’s after cat sensor is going out but I’m now sure that can tank all 4 sensors at once....

While we may have missed National Daughters Day, we didn't miss International Chest Day with Your Daughter Day.

It's not official until its in my driveway. But I may be dragging this beauty home in the near future. At this point I have a full on Carcaine addiction.
