What does the mailing label say was the package weight for shipping? I ordered a solid shank receiver with from Northern Tool and got an empty box with an exit wound. Apparently the air they used as packing material leaked out as well.

Might as well cancel that, too. Unless you’re going to go through it, it's probably a waste of time and money. Q-jets are all tuned to application, and the likelihood of you getting the right one is extremely slim from either of those places.
Send yours out to a reputable rebuilder.
The Engine I bought came from an 85' GM Truck (Numbers Matching, Not that it makes that much of a difference), this Carburetor should be the correct one for a "Stock" swap. Also the seller of the Engine didn't provide the Carburetor that should be on that Engine, which is why I had to go to and purchase one.

No hole in the box. It was completely taped all around even right down the middle of both flaps top and bottom. . . I had another look at the listing's Small rectangular Details box doe's say $90.00 Core Charge. Either way I don't have an old Carburetor to give him. I'll just have to wait for the seller to accept the Return and Refund the money (Via Ebay's Return Policy). If it was an honest Mistake I wouldn't hold it against them.

Just understand that you are buying a core rebuild that may not be what is advertised. It's about as bad as buying a new Edelbrock carb.

Got the parking brake cables routed and mocked up properly this time around, but I might need to buy new calipers. When I grabbed them from the junkyard I mistakenly took out the bolt that holds the return spring for the parking brake, and it’s a special bolt that I have to salvage. With my luck, these calipers would’ve sprayed brake fluid the first time I tried to bleed them anyway.

Ill throw in some rubber lined hose clamps to hold the cables up, and aside from the 3 bolts for the pedal that I’ve lost, this hodgepodge will be ready to test this Saturday.

So, what springs were in it? Some randos laying on a shelf?
That I do not know. Best guess is they were made for bbc or Cadillac motor as those are heaviest motors I can think of. My buick 455 weighs as much as factory small block Chevy, especially now since I have aluminum heads, headers and aluminum intake
