It has nothing to do with V8 or V6. it's the rear end gears. So I'm guessing the car your transmission came out of had a different ratio that your car. Do you still have the old one, if you do you can just swap the speedo gears.

I have a quick question for anyone running a 'lumpy' cam on the street. The cam in my engine has some good 'lump' to it. All the way up to about 1600 RPM. When I'm out driving at the speed limit (50KM/h, 33ish mp/h) my engine is just at 1600. So when I'm going any slower than that, it feels...

Re: Transmission line size and cooler install help. From what the site says, it's to much of a PITA to ship up to Canada.

Spent the afternoon trying to get some fittings to put the aftermarket cooler in with no luck. So I went home and put everything back together and took it for a cruise.

Wow getting nowhere with this. Apparently in my city, parts stores only hire idiots who know nothing about cars. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a whole new cooler just to get some 50 cent fittings.

Only when nobody is looking 8)
