Spotted this 85 GP the other day while roaming a wrecking yard South of the dfw Texas. Dann thing was in pretty good shape other than the accident damage to the front passenger side. Had the F41 suspension and aluminum rear drums. Made a video of it if anyone is close and might be interested in...
Spotted this 1978 Grand Am the other day while roaming the wrecking yard. I think its the first time I have ever seen one in a yard. Made a quick video of it.
I have found aluminum drums on gbodys, box caprices and 3rd gen fbodys in the wrecking yards. I think you can also find aluminum bumpers on other gbodys. My 1980 monte has them
True that's why I endured the pain of getting down there to see if it had the gnx rear suspension. Heard that one just went for over 100k at BJ. With this one being half that price I thought it was a good deal.
Didn't expect to run into one for sae at the goodguys show here in ft worth. Thought it might be a clone. Made a quick walk around video of it. I didn't think the price was outrageous seeing how nice it looked.
My first car was a 67 Chevelle BUT my first dream car was, is and always will be a 1970 Cuda. My first memories of going fast was in my dads 70 440 6pack Cuda. It is one of the three cars that I want to own in my lifetime. The other two are a 49-51 Merc, and a 61-64 Lincoln Continental.

In florida people are starting to overprice them due to them being so popular in the the "big rim" scene. You can still find them but you gatta act fast if its on craigslist cause if its worth it itll be gone b4 you know it. Its funny how ive seen some very clean cars in the junk yards that...
Re: Which engine would YOU choose? (vote)
The lm4 came in th2 early trailblazer/envoy/rainier/ssr The l33 came in 06-08? extended cab trucks. ( both lm4 and l33 are Aluminum)My lm4 was $950 shipped with 75k miles. I later bought an lm7(cast iron block) short block for $113 from the local lkq...
Re: Which engine would YOU choose?
ha, hands down, its the lm4 or l33 5.3l. The lm4 makes those 300hp stock out the box and the l33 makes about 330hp. and those stock internals will "party" a whole lot more than any of those other engines, stock for stock!
I have these on my monte and only got them cause they were literally $5 and some change from the local lkq. They are actually the "projector" version with the halo. The projector is barely ok in my book and the halos sucked. I think the factory halos out there would look much better. Just a...
