I bought a Jegs 700r4 tv cable/throttle bracket but it did not fit due to the aftermarket intake so Im using a universal bracket from the auto store. Ive found no specific brackets from the edelbrock carb that will fit.

Ive already adjusted the governor weights and springs to how I like it. Just dont like how soon she shifts into 4th after going into third. As far as the tv cable adjustment, I get a little nervous messing with it because I know it can burn up the transmission fast if set wrong. Im just not getting...

I haven't put an update kit in it. Is that the same as a shift kit? Once it hits 4th the power isn't there as well. Is that due to torque converter locking up then?

Hey fellas, I have a new power steering pump leaking out of one of the holes in the rear of my power steering pump about half way down. I do not need that hole for the bracket I'm using so there is a plastic plug in that hole. It's leaking fluid. Do I just plug it with a screw? Thanks!

I'll look into adding pcv valve. Thanks! According to the edelbrock performer carb vacuum port diagram, the vacuum advance hookup goes on drivers side port for non emissions controlled engines. I just switched it to drivers side.

Never knew that it'd hurt the engine by not having a pcv valve. Any sbc pcv valve work?

I just read over my engine builders specs they did on the break in. Says that the timing without vacuum advance hooked up is at 10 degrees. With it hooked up, around 27 degrees. Could this be robbing me of hp and torque?

I figured I'd have to take the door panel off for the mirror. The spring type clips I need (2 of them) are for my radio bezel and the passenger vent trim. They 'snap' the trim in place.

Does anyone know where I can get the spring clips for the interior trim like for the radio bezel? Also, how do u tighten the side mirrors? They are wobbly... Not on the door but wobbly on the stand from the door. Thanks!

The engine builders were to have set up the carb for me. They ran the engine and dynoed it with carb already installed. I haven't touched the settings on it.
