Air in the lines will cause a no start. Do you have a wait to start light? My 81 has a wait to start and water in fuel. Not sure the 79. I have the entire dealership factory repair and trouble shooting manual as well as the wiring diagrams. Make sure you do not use starting fluid aka ether. You...
As I said before we have the same taste. I am also wanting a roasmaster with that engine. I recently purchased a 2011 bmw 335i which I love turboed and will haul *ss. The only thing with your roadmaster is I want leather interior. But you got a great deal on that roadmaster. I love white. My GP...
Still hoping to find some tan brougham seats from a 1981-1987 grand prix brougham. I want originals I do not wish to re-upholster them. These seats are very well padded and sit terrific.
My 81 Grand Prix has hydro boost. She’s still a diesel. One day the car cut off on me and it was all I could do to stop it. I almost took out an intersection.
Hey Texas. That road master is amazing. I have been looking for one as well. I want leather interior though. And the LT1 engine. I drove my landlady’s years ago she got it brand new that **** would haul @$$.
Yes it was. A nightmare because of the padded vinyl top. Why I don’t have kids. Lol. And I still have not found the tan pillow top seats I want. I do have the LJ SEATS. Nice but no where near that plush my 84 brougham had.
My 1981 Pontiac grandprix lj. Bone stock with the 5.7L Diesel engine. Would drive her anywhere. Someone had asked did anyone keep it original for just cruising. have not been on in awhile but always read discussion on my email.

Still hoping to find some tan brougham seats from a 1981-1987 grand prix brougham. I want originals I do not wish to re-upholster them. These seats are very well padded and sit terrific. Would also like the ignition/door gong not the buzzer. the gongs were only installed in the brougham...
i'll take the door gong, just above the fuse box off the Pontiac. I would just die if the seats were the Tan Brougham ones and in great condition!! But I think they are blue!
