    Wiper Motor

This new motor did not have the circuit board. I re-used the cap from my existing motor. That being said when I took the cap off the old motor there was some loose plastic inside it. I wonder if that somehow got around to breaking something on that board. I'll take a closer look. I have a few...

    Wiper Motor

Good day. So I replaced the wiper motor in my 1984 the other day... - The car has a delay system for the wipers. - When I turn the wipers on they seem to work fine, but no delay function. Not sure if it was just low speed on all settings. - When I turn the wiper switch to the off position the...

8.8 Rear End Swap and GM Brakes

8.8 Rear End Swap and GM Brakes

Hey All, so I will be moving forward with 2004 Mustang 8.8 swap in my 84 Regal. I think I have everything I will need to get the diff test fit with wheels and the suspension and alignment, so I'm covered there. I'm struggling with the brakes. I have been scouring the internet (lightly) for the...

    NEW 9" Rear End Assemblies

Yeah, it is wider. But I was okay with that. Tires are sucked inside the wheel well quite a bit with the factory rear end. So I was thinking / hoping that this would kick the tires out 3/4" - 1" each side and fill the wheel well a bit nicer. That's the thought anyway!

    NEW 9" Rear End Assemblies

I'm getting tired of fiddling with stuff. I just want to enjoy the car! I think my rear end is actually from an 05! Even still, I can cut and weld if needed. That Southside Machine kit for 8.8 swaps looks like decent option if I cut off the upper trailing arm mount. I only paid a couple hundred...

    NEW 9" Rear End Assemblies

Hey everyone. I'm considering taking the plunge in to a 9" rear end. I have looked into swapping an 8.8 from a Mustang, I actually have a complete rear end from what appears to be a 2004 Mustang but after taking into consideration the fabrication and additional parts and all the other nonsense...

    Drop Spindle Installation

So I did get a response back from Western Chassis, and they do see this from time to time depending on the rotor manufacturer, is what I was told. They do have a larger spacer/washer for the keyed slot to make it all work nicely. They are going to send me that part. I just found no mention of...

    Drop Spindle Installation

I just messaged them. Haven't heard back yet. I usually get quicker responses here! If I add a thick washer it all tightens up. Not sure how great of an idea that is!

    Drop Spindle Installation

I'm not going to the junkyard for parts. Rotor and bearings for a pre 98 s10 should work is what I'm hearing? I can't find any of that I formation on the summit or Western chassis websites.

    Drop Spindle Installation

finally got around to doing this. This is the difference I am talking about. I run out of keyway for the washer to sit in. Then the rotor / hub is loose.

    Drop Spindle Installation

I'll take some pictures when I get home. Had to leave town for work for a few days then I can dig in to it again.

    Drop Spindle Installation

Bearings did come with an inner and outer race. But they don't fit in the rotor with the outer.

    Drop Spindle Installation

I got new bearings ( TMK-SET34 , TMK-SET6 ) , seal ( TMK-8871 ), spindle lock nut and new Powerstop rotors ( PWR-AR-8213XPR ). I had pre So I think I covered everything I would need to...

    FiTech Transmission Control

I tried resting the tune in the computer and starting from scratch again. Made sure all the wires were plugged in. Trans has fluid...after that I'm stumped. Other things i have read where people have similar issues they make some tweaks with the programmed and then its good. No such luck yet.

Hey gang. I'm running a FiTech Ultimate LS swap with transmission control on my LSx and 4L60e. Has anyone out here dealt with the issue of the transmission not shifting out of first gear. Also the handheld controller is showing a speed of 0 mph. I' have read a few things on the internet and...
