What makes the quarter windows different, is the rubber gasket used on the non vinyl top windows. Have you tried to find the gasket or broken quarter glass windows you can take the gasket from?

I did use an E-bay one as well. It was suspose to be for both systems too. I paid $50. for it. Quality control today is non existent. I am a mechanic by trade and it is a real problem there as well. I used ORB fittings on the regulator by the way.

I don't know about you, but my tree in the backyard doesn't grow G-bodys anymore. It's not a regular run of the mill Cutlass so if my opinion even counts, I'd say save it. People have saved regular G-bodys in much worse shape.

Hi guys, Does anybody know why early G-Bodies/A-bodies have different brake boosters? It looks like the early years get the bigger booster ( larger diameter) and the 81-88's get the small booster. Any difference? Why the change in boosters?

Because of the rarity I'm glad your keeping the V6. It's not fast by any means but it is original to the car. In my opinion I say keep it as close to stock as possible. The wheels do look good.
