hello all , Well yes an oil pan can rust out , you learn something new everyday. My story 1986 Buick Regal with 132,000 km ( it's canadian ) V-6 3.8 N/A with a 20 bolt oil pan........some earlier have a 16 bolt pan. And it's toast it has a bad case of external rust , pin holes at best...
