tried to respond to my old build thread but it's apparently been locked? Anyways I picked up an 83 Malibu wagon in 2014 with an anemic 305 and a slipping th350c, pulled the engine and trans and started working on a 350 but divorce and a motorcycle wreck that almost killed me got in the way of...

so i got the serp setup off a 97 blazer to try and swap onto my 83 malibu with a 305, passenger side wont bolt up because the head only has 1 bolt and not 3 and the drivers side wont fit due to valve cover interference... SHITTY!! from what i rear on maliburacing.com i just got too new of a setup..

so im working on this car for my buddy and it has some electrical gremlins, can somebody get a picture of the fuse box? all the writing is wore off and im not sure if my 83 has the same layout or not. ill keep you guys updated on the progress if somebody can please help!!

i traded a 89 suburban for this 1983 malibu wagon, its a 305HO/th350/7.5 3.42 open. car was a total mess when i got it, PO had lifted it then the guy i got it from cut the springs without losing the lift blocks... yeah.. it had a new edelbrock and hei distributor in place of the feedback qjet...

hey guys, picked up a 83 malibu wagon 305/th350 7.5 3.42 open. needs a grip of work and some general refinement.. im in the middle of resealing the timing cover and changing my intake manifold and carb. hope you enjoy the ride!!
