    Declining interest in gbodys discussion

100% agree I've had my malibu for 4 years and was born in 87. I was specifically after a g body as it was nostalgic for me as my parents had a few of them growing up.

I've noticed hagerty values and appraisals for our cars have dramatically increased over the past year. Mine (80 malibu) went from 8,000 to 10,000 (cdn including tax) in the pat year and my father inlaws 84 el camino was appraised for $15,400 5 years ago and was $19,800 this year.

Spindles are the same for all G bodys right?

blazer spindals are the exact same dimensions, but you gain larger brakes (2 piston) and sealed bolt on hub. now it has to be the 2wd blazers

Ls swap, does the trans move position?

The spohn and holley mounts (as well as other kits) require you to use their crossmember, which means it is going to move the transmission so you would have to shorten or lengthen the drive shaft depending on the position

Ls swap, does the trans move position?

its all depends on which mounts, pan you use. if you use a 1" setback mount everything will stay the same. I used them and my th350 stayed in the same spot.

    1980 malibu ls swap

Well it runs like a scalded cat and is a hand full haha. However i had a 350 before with about 360-380hp with the stock 242 gears and have stepped up to about 430-450hp and 373 gears with a locker so its a completely different animal. But the engines manners are very relaxed where the other...
