    60ft? Traction?

First off are you spinning. Other reasons could be the way you stag your car - launch RPM - the weather, and track prep. and diffent tracks. Since you say your tires are gone that would be first thing to buy. Here is an some info to check out your suspension...

    My Inheritance

I've been following your post and happy that you have part of your father to keep and constantly remind you. I'd like to through my 2 cents at installing Caltracs. I went with the split mono and sliders in the rear and never had a problem hooking at any track I go to.

HEI Weights: How floppy is too floppy?

You seem to have quite a bit of cam to distributor clearance and also check how much up and down clearance the distributor shaft has to the housing not that that should matter because the the distributor is turning CCW and should be pulled down. You might also try moving the crank back and forth...

How long are tires good for???'s

So much depends on how they are used, properly used, climate, storage, Uv exposer - my car trailer tires get replaced after 4 seasons and they are always covered and stored indoors in the winter. My motor home tires are now 6 years old w/ 18,000 miles always covered but showing signs of cracking...

    New personal best!

First and for most it's against the law. You are not in a controlled environment and you haven't got a clue of what situation might arise, and going 180 ft/sec w/no time to react. If you are going to build a car to go fast that you would include the safety equipment to do so. Ungn who is a...

Grand national 8.5 10 bolt value

Prices have just gone nuts over the past 20 years. I bought a wrecked Hurst Olds in 2005 (hit in the door) for $500 - now they want double that for junk.

Grand national 8.5 10 bolt value

I personally wouldn't spend that much on an old used 8.5 but if you really want one they are few and far between. I wouldn't put any money into the 7.5 but invest in better. There are a few options to go on, I went with a bolt in 9 in both my cars (Moser & QP) All new, order w/ the axles...
