Like you said,,, he needs to look at block and transmission #'s...The rest of a vin from an H/O could be figured out from that if its an H/O..You know its goimg to be 1G3AK479_DMXXXXXX

The original equip fuel pump went out yesterday on my 83 H/O.. Looking thru the GM parts' manual,,all I can find is p/n's for vin Y 307s GM 6471743 ( ACDelco 41567 ). I can find the p/n for 85-87 vin 9's GM 6472172 ( ACDelco 42218 ) Anyone know if either of these is correct for an 83 vin 9 ...
I fought the code 45 for a while after I got my H/O...Tried new 02 sensor ( an original AFS-20) .. no help.. My problem was the carb.,,which ,definitely sounds like you have carb issues as well.. You should definitely hear the MCS clicking when you put the jumper in with KOEO. My carb still...

WellJames ,,as i said in our conversation last week,,i will be out of town that weekend ,,won't be able to make it..and i certainly wouldn't let my wife drive my Olds there !! And that sucks !!! Because any Turbo Buick meet NEEDS a Hurst/Olds in attendance.

H\O84....as stated ,,those are the cars and concepts drawings and assembly manuals for the hurst olds conversion...After seeing your thread on your project,,i recommend getting them.. When i bought my 83 a few years ago i bought them all ...real good info for if and when you have to disassemble...
You're welcome,,,,keep searching the web for part outs,,,,Watch the buick and caddy forums...You probably won't find one in your back yard,,but get the wallet out for shipping...I'll keep my eyes open for ya
