This makes 5.5, 10.5. 13.5 hrs round trip to see a car I walked away from. 87 442. Burgundy. Im not afraid of spending money, but it has to be worth it.

As the title states, I live in Erie and we have a local group, Misery Bay SCCA group who races at Lake Erie Speedway. First meet up is May 4th. I do need to get new tires but just wondering what all else I should probably prep for it.

Helping a buddy work on his Cutlass and he removed the fuel tank to replace it with a new one, and to clean everything underneath. I cant remember where the pigtail for the sending unit plugs into. Any help? Pics?

I love the energy, the passion, but why to a 442? I cant be behind that. There are so many 80's Cutlass cars out there to hack up instead. Good luck on your endeavor but I am not with you on this.

Front nose pushed in, header might be still good but be careful and look closely. And agree with above Edited, and if you grab the header, make sure to get the 2 brackets behind the header. Most miss those 2

Same as the title, helping a friend do a low budget build, we pulled the rear out today. He wants a posi and a 3:73. Used is fine but has to be in working order.

Love this thread. I have rebuilt plenty of these with great success, but most people are afraid of them because "electronic qjet". It was definitely hard finding good info on settings etc on them in the earlier days. Looking forward to more on this.
