Not sure how the wiring is on an 81 but if you look at the firewall connector, it has 2 plugs. The closest to the fender should be all the lighting, wipers, horns etc. The side that is closet to the engine, you shouldn't need. I removed all that side of the plug completely on my swap.

All piping, hoses, sensors and Meth are now installed. A small power steering leak was fixed. Speed Density Tuning is all setup and ready for the dyno. Unfortunately it will be a couple weeks. IMG_20170713_202952126

Correct, that is for the LS3 water pump. Please be aware that a bunch of people are advertising the LSA water pump as a LS3. THEY ARE DIFFERENT!!!!

I understand but there are different pcms and harnesses. A 1999 LS1 harness and pcm are different from a 2003 LM7 Truck harness which is different from a Corvette PCM and harness.

Either will work, Remember you are going through fuses and a ton of older wire so I am sure there is a little drop in voltage.

What harness and PCM are your using? I am asking so I can send you the pins that need to be used. Here are some dash pinouts you will need. fuel gauge- pink wire in the dash. As stated above nothing to do with the swap. volts-brown wire from the dash. Just shows voltage gong through he system...

No issues, either dent the passenger side tunnel to fit the cooling line fittings or use the banjo type.
