The 80's cam failure was caused by incorrect heat treating of the cam. To answer your question, I'm using Kendall GT-1 which has zddp additive. I get it from my local jobber (400/401 area). I paid around $25 for 5 litres so it's reasonably priced too.

I know you said "from the coil to the wires there's spark". The first thing I would do is throw a spark tester in #2 wire & verify spark. My first instinct when I see a wet plug is the plug is not firing. If you confirm you have spark then I would do as mentioned above & do a wet & dry...
