    98~05 Blazer brake upgrade! DONE!

Re: 89~05 Blazer brake upgrade! DONE! I have got to ask for some good ride height pics, and see how the suspension travel is affected. It looks great, hope to see more folks try this see how they like it. I am planning to install an A-body/IROC big brake install, but this dual piston set up...

    New from France

The harness was in rough shape too. Someone had cut into it for a bad trailer wiring job. And the sockets were corroded badly. I will have to dig it out to look again. But modifying a newer harness just requires deleting one bulb and changing sockets. I think. It's been a few years since I...

Longtube or shorties? Headers...which one's better?

In my setup, which is still a mismatched bunch, my small heads and huge exhaust , 3 1/2 oval, my long tube headers are too much breathing room. And shorter smaller headers would probably help my low end.

Longtube or shorties? Headers...which one's better?

I'm currently running long tube Hooker knockoffs, big diameter(1.625). Fitment is fine, minor dents needed to clear passenger side control arm. The downside is slight loss of lowend torque, and the annoying issue of removal of the passenger side header to swap out my starter due to the 7qt...

The euro taillights look like the same mold as my original '78 lenses. I will dig them out and get a comparative picture. I updated my taillights and rear harness to an '82 unit.

    78 El Camino SS

I've dropped a bit more into it now, but the first time I saw this on on Craigslist the guy had it at $1200.00. Four months later I snagged it for $300.00. I still have my pushbar, I can get you some measurements. It's simple to build. I used chromoly tubing so its a tiny bit lighter than...

    78 black knight

New to the g-body forum, but not to the elcamino parts hunt. I've owned 4 cars now. I started with and 82 conquista, than an 81 beater, 79 salvage, and now a 78 black knight. From my stockpile of parts I think the 78 has a chance of spending a good deal of time being driven instead of...
