Caleb bonwell- Thanks and glad I could help. Thanks Jack, I'm doing my best to keep going. Well the hits keep coming. Either due to lack of enough bracing with the frame notch or from the wreck or maybe both, the driver side frame ahaed of the notch is twisting. This is allowing the lower...

Sorry I haven't had a lot of updates but the car is back together again. Although not real pretty. Even managed to make it to the track but couldn't get a full pass due to oil getting pushed out under boost. Will be heading back this Friday so hopefully will have some video of that.

I would and did build it again lol. It's holding up fine except for where I bolted it to the frame. I should have used some type of rubber mount I'm sure. I used just a small piece of the aluminum angle to mount it and it has bent slightly. Will most likely just remake that part out of some...

Thanks guys. No one was hurt luckily. Jack, the plan is to rebuild. I'm just too stubborn to know when to stop, lol. As of now the car strapped to my trailer to hopefully bend everything back, at least close enough.

These are the best pictures I've managed to get before things go ugly. This is first time in sun. The wheels and tires still dirty from laying around the garage. At this point, I was much happier with how the car was running. However it took me all summer to get to this point so I never made...

Then I turned my attention back to the body. This was a pic right before I started back on the body. Bought new doors and transferred everything over. Along with new felts and weatherstrip. Also installed new black door handles and door locks. At this point I was less concerned with getting...

Back in the car! Some other new additions include new Schoenfeld 1 3/4" headers. Stewart Warner aluminum water pump. Remote reservoir power steering set up to work with the procharger. Summit Racing alternator bracket and pulleys. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

That brings us to the next engine build. At this point I really should have just went LSx, but I couldn't get past what I just spent on brackets and accessories for the old small block. Since I was trying to get it all done and to the track as quick as possible I went with new block from summit...

Been away for over a year again! I'll try to catch this up the best I can. I ran in to a problem with a fuel leak that ended up being one of the well plugs in the metering block had gotten pushed out. The guys at Horsepower Innovations were awesome in helping me get that fixed. The replaced it...

A quick question about motor mount inserts

I had just a bit more problem lining up the mounts. But loosening just one side on the frame allowed it to fall in to place.

Haven't done all my wiring yet but has just enough to run. Need to use the garage for another project. So enjoy a short video of it running.

Thanks Jack. I switched over to a blow though setup instead of the old roots style blower. I'm trying to get it all under a flat hood now.

Doesn't look like I got a whole lot more done but I got a lot of little things done. I finished the core support and mounted the radiator/fans and transmission cooler. Hard to tell but I also got the power steering reservoir mounted and the lines made. I also started on a plate to hold a fuse...

Got a little more done. Managed to get the fenders mounted and aligned. I tried cleaning the inner fenders but could not get satisfied with them. So I painted them. I used spray can truck bed liner and I'm pretty happy with the results. Then I started work on making my core support. More...

    My Bu's "Re"Build Thread

Thanks Jack! I'm still making progress bit by bit. I've got the trunk finished up. It's ready for everything to be bolted in place and wires and hoses ran. I need to do a little wiring under the dash and make a plate to cover the shifter but other than that the interior is back together, The...

Managed to get the firewall and door jams painted. I also changed the color a little bit from when I painted the bumpers. Then mounted the body on the new frame with new poly body mounts.

Had some personal issues that held me up for a bit, but i"m back at again. Got the car in and started tearing it down. And the frame is out! Had some rust issues. And in the trunk. The floor is patched up. Im waiting on the trunk until I put the body back on the frame. New frame is...
