I just came to say this thread is awesome and keep up the good work!

appreciate the input here. Seems as though it's going from 25 to 150... with $25 being kind of unrealistic (I'm not sure anyone anywhere would sell straight driver quaility H/O rims for $25/pop... with perhaps $150 being on the "cleaned up...ok driver quality" side of the equation. the crazy...

i hate asking these questions due to the variability of "condition" but It's an honest question as i haven't seen these things for sale in ages. What's the going rate either per rim/ or per set for 83/84 HO rims? Let's say condition is generally poor - flaking clear coat, some pitting around...

as neat as that car looks, it's got a few "issues" insofar as originality goes. nevertheless, I just wish the guy who bought it would sell me some interior bits :p

I can't say I've ever seen or heard of any '79 Olds with a 305 4v, 4spd and 3.08 rear.. that would likely be ultra rare... Tom

nice car. electron blue is a sweet color. I'm partial to the C5s as well. You'll have a great time crusing in it. That car doesn't need much more than some longtubes, a VR intake a good tune and better brake pads... cheers.

Interesting post. Back in the 90s I contacted Helen directly and she confirmed production #s, info, for my '78 4-4-2. I'm curious as to what info you might have regarding the "percentages" relating to manual transmission G/J87 cars. Thanks in advance! Tom

Hey man, great taste in cars. There's a guy with the same colour combo '78 that keeps winning his class at OCA meets. As for the parts you're looking for- you want NOS or NOS quality? or just something to plug the gaps until you figure out what you wanna do with it?

It would have been me looking for parts for for a '78 or '79 salon or century coupe... other than that, my memory gets foggy.. sorry!
