Can somebody help me identify this thing? The guy selling it has it listed as a qjet and clearly it is a carter. Wondering if it's worth messing with for $30

New plugs... Accel header plugs like I used to run in my radical small block, and the lil ole 305 has come to life! Smoother idle not pulling through braks, revs quicker, sounds better, shifts better. I pulled the a/f screws and blasted carb cleaner in there which I don't think I ever did before...
No thermostat gang over here! It has always worked for me. The dual 12" cooling fans and new radiator dont hurt. The transition slots are barely showing, even with the idle set screw in more than before. I'm gonna mess with the plugs and get some converter advice. Thanks for the input!

Picked up some drag lites a while back. Jr did most of the polishing and we got 165/80/15s mounted on the fronts and installed. 15x4 and 15x8. Sticking with the 235/60/15 on the rears but they need way more polishing than the fronts did before we mount tires and throw em on. Removed the front...
If you haven't used the parts after years already and the Camino is the worse of the two, I'd sieze the opportunity to utilize them on the new project. Especially with the momentum you got going.
Got tweeters in the dash, they were in my Cutlass. I hung on to grill plates I made for some reason and realized they were the same shape as the El Camino/MC grilles just longer, so I cut them down and are reusing them. Had a 2nd car show at my job and a buddy parked next to me with his camaro.
That nerve damage stuff sucks man, the pain gets easier to ignore over time. Hope you can regain some mobility quickly with pt. Looking forward to seeing more progress on this build. Wish I had something to contribute and return the benevolence, but I'm still keeping an eye out for the parts we...
What are you using to measure the draw, and where? Like 78 said pull the fuses independently and check. Make sure the lighter wiring isn't grounding out. Did you pull the fuse for it, or disconnect the cig lighter itself? Could also be a melted/shorted connection on the fuse panel for the...
