    Facebook Creeping Anyone Else Out?

That's right, except it's not a haha. They're outright spying on us. Making money is not that important to them. They already have all the money -- see Federal (not federal) Reserve (no cash in reserve). When you open it up, and they ask, "what's on your mind?" it's only to make sure you're not...

    QUICK S10 STEERING BOX QUESTION

I picked up a 2003 S10 steering box today and I want to try it on one of my G-body cars. Can I use the S10 pitman arm or do I have to swap it? It looks slightly different and is 1/4" shorter. Anybody know for sure?

Yes, you need a scan master to monitor and tune your turbo-car, and then later on, once you get it running correctly you can use these more expensive tools for fine tuning, if you need to. You need to avoid detonation by making sure your fueling is adequate which is monitored by the scanmaster's...

Well, I've been running these cars for 20 years, and all I have is the regular scanmaster. You don't have to step right up and buy the most expensive stuff. I'm under the impression by reading your posts you have quite a lot of other stuff to take care of, and maybe that money should be spent...

    FlyneBye Performance

Oh I see. I didn't realize you put the 3/16" spacer behind the rotor. On the E-brake again, are there shoes that fit inside the rotor as with the LS1 brakes and if so, what vendor supplied them? I don't see it in the flynbye picture.

Doesn't putting those washers behind the abutment brackets put the rotor up against the abutment bracket? You only have so much room and you want the rotor in the center of that space. Another thing I'm confused about. Where is the emergency brake apparatus? There's no photo that shows it.

Go to turbo tweak's site and there are instructions for increasing or decreasing fueling and timing.

I just noticed what you said about the abutment brackets. I had the same thing happen on the front Corvette brakes with flynbye's brackets. I bought the correct abutment brackets for 14" rotors with the zo6 calipers only to find out I needed the abutment brackets for the smaller corvette brakes...

Here's a photo of what my flange looks like for the 12" LS1 Camaro rear brakes. I think the bolt holes for the 13" Corvette brakes look the same. The top holes are wider apart in both applications. Here's the Corvette parts: http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i261.html

    FlyneBye Performance

Hey Thanks! The measurements of the holes in the flange are probably the same as with the LS1 Camaro backing plate. As I recall, the bottom ones lined up, of course needed to be enlarged, and then the top one's drilled. What are those gold flanges shown in the bottom of the link photo? Spacers...

    FlyneBye Performance

Hey, I looked on flynbye's site and I didn't see the backing plates you purchased. Can you be more specific where exactly I can see what he has offered? I know I can't just call up and ask. Did you just modify that flange specifically for your C5/c6 backing plate? Mine is similar for my LS1 rear...

Drop in Aluminum Radiator Under $300?

Are you saying that the dimensions of the radiator itself are different than the one I linked? Is the Olds unit different from a Buick unit? I know for my GN, it takes the same size radiator as an IROC Camaro. Not so with your G-body?

Drop in Aluminum Radiator Under $300?

So, you didn't look at the link I suggested above? Hose inlet and outlet sizes are what you say you need, 1.25" and 1.5" and the radiator in the link is listed for Chevrolet Camaro (that was in chinese though). Did I miss something? Maybe the Americans at Auto City or Cold Case don't know what...
