    New guy

Welcome to the forum and nice ride!! I'm in Sun City and doing my own swap on a real GN right now, a Ford Coyote with my own twin turbo setup. I agree with others about doing a different v8 swap but at the end of the say you have to do what works for you & your budget. Let me know if you need a...

12,500 mile oil life??? shut the front door!!!

Has anyone here seen the Gibbs Driven oil tester? Pretty cool and I have tried it recently. Here's a link and a pic of my.first sample. The dark brown one is a customers Coyote with about 2500 hard miles on the oil and the pinker one is off of my twin turbo SBF with a total of 22 track passes...

Here you go! Paint looks a little more flat in pics but will buff to a nice shine will little effort. Previous owner to the one I bought it from started taking glass out and stripping it to have it painted so it would be "show quality" bit I have lots of other priorities on it first so it'll go...

Ok, I follow you now. I remember seeing years ago guys doing extra supports and bracing between the rear frame rails, especially once notched. Fortunately I've got a 2 & 4 post lifts so I figured I'd be lifting the body off at some point to add bracing and supports. I'm familiar with reinforcing...

How so or what for? Meaning for a frame notch and cage? BTW, will a 315/60-15 fit reasonably well with just a frame notch? It's been a while since I've worked on this platform and forgot :(

LOL, I wouldn't mind be a trendsetter. I will admit that I wasn't a fan of the 4 valve overhead stuff at first as it seems a bit overwhelming and complicated but once you get into it it's not bad at all. What impresses me the most is the power & drivability that can be had out of these little...

Almost, lol. I had a customer that was going to have me do a new style LT1 & 6 speed swap into his 1978 Corvette then he found out that the new drivetrain was worth more than the car so he decided to pass and is now hunting down a "deal" for an LS & 4L60 trans. As far as how high I'm going to...

I will be running a pair of Garrett Turbos for my car and one of them will be their new mirror image so I can go for that symmetrical look ;) My Coyote will be stock 302 displacement to keep the wall thickness up. As far as the LSX, it will be 427CI with a pair of Garrett turbos on it. I'll...

I was always a Chevy/GM guy too then I got a Foxbody and the bug bit me. Still a Chevy guy at heart though! Well, just to give you an idea, I've built a couple 900+hp to the tire 2016 Mustangs for customers that are still running 100% stock engines with the exception of oil pump gears & timing...

Meh, I have a buddy that has a GN, just need to put a deal together to get it. I'm in the process of possibly getting another Foxbody tonight so I may have a little bargaining power with him to get it... Ultimately I'd love to have a Malibu to replace the one I sold but I'm fine with whatever...

I think I would piss of the Buick guys the most, especially if it was in a GN over a T Type ;)
