I’m having some difficulty hookin up my trunk release I’ve looked om youtube and really haven’t had any luck. The release I have came from a cutlass. I’ve tried to check it but I am not sure what I’m doing. Anybody out there got any instructions on how to get done?

I’m sorry I’m an old fart and I don’t know how to pm, unless this it. I’m interested does it have the bolts? I finally got my transmission in and working and they lost my cover and the bolts

I haven’t quit on it yet. It was put in my car drove around one evening next morning it wouldn’t move. Guy that built it said it had bad gasket not letting the pump work correctly. You have to rev it up to get to move. I’m pretty much wore out with this transmission ordeal.
I am in the middle of changing to 400 turbo in 442. Ithas the factory 3.73 rear end now. I have been told that my rpm will be high at hi way speeds. What would a better gear to mate with this? Currently has a 403 turning between 350 and 400 horse.

That’s the problem. I don’t have a transmission shop that will build a 200. If I go with a 400 or a 700, what kind of changes do I need to make to them for maximum output?
I’ve got to replace my 200r4 in my 442. I’m torn between 700r4 and a th400. I’d like to have some thoughts on this move.
I also need some help on putting the speedo gears before installation

I lost my 2004r this past week I think i”ll go with th 400. My question is about what else will need to be changed
Will the shifter work on a non overdrive transmission?
