Well the tank had been removed by the previous owner who put a 240-30 ohm unit in it. I only knew this because my fuel gauge never worked right and I had to manually measure the resistance output as the level changed. I will try to see if I can get it to reset.

Ran out of gas for the first time. Finally bit me not having a working fuel gauge. Luckily i was less than 2 miles from my house. Will be dropping the tank. Most likely replacing it and the sender but i will make the call once i get the tank dropped.
