I saw this and thought it was a great idea. Nice clean solution to a steam port with no drilling or tapping. Only problem is it's for a SBC and I can't find one for an LS. Anyone have a source? Or make them? .
She was quite the helper today. Fetching stuff, picking up dropped tools, bolts, etc. Had her in the engine bay holding the shop light. She got some grease on her and loved it. The wife was not so happy.
Finally test fitting th 6.0 into the MCSS. Feels good to finally see it in its new home. The CVF serpentine system is easy peasy. Take the water pump pully and the idler pulley off and 6 bolts and the whole assembly comes off. 2 man operation though. My friends Regal with an LQ4, 408, 4L80, Ford...
Got the CVF kit today. I am simultaneously impressed and perplexed. All of the kit is very nice. Casting, paint, powder coat is very nice. Should be a painless install. Then there is the water pump. Must have been a Friday end of shift job. Casting burrs everywhere. Paint is amateurish and a lot...
Replaced the front shocks, inner & outer wheel bearings and the brake pads. It was all original parts with 43K on them. Brakes and shocks were shot. The bearings didn't look bad but they were loose. I guess that makes them shot too. Hubs were much tighter with new bearings. Almost like new...
I haven't seen the pulleys as a common problem. I will keep an eye on that though. If it turns out to be crap I'll send it back. CVF has a lifetime warranty on all parts except hardware and belts.

SK Speed Part Number: DDMDD-LS-ALT-PS-AC-SANDEN
This is a package...
I'm all over the place when it comes to wheels. I bought a set of Rally's, took one out of the box and put it on the car, didn't like it, boxed it up and returned them. I'm just wanting a wheel that is not what everyone else is running.
The instructions are clear. The motor frame mounts are correct. The motor mounts aren't clearing my AC compressor. This is what it looks like in the correct orientation. The bolts are in the top motor mount holes.
