Anyone know if another GM car had a similar rear end to the gbody. We have confirmed that the front is non-g. Now, there appears to be some differences between the rear in the truck and a 79 grand prix. Trying to aort this out to get the right parts ordered up for the front.

Now, I need a few measurements verified on the bushing holes. Found a local subframe and got some measurements.

I have a buddy working on the front end. Can anyone ID the wider arms??? Narrower ones are 2wd s10. They obviously won't fit and I was told the front stub was gbody...and that s10 arms would fit. I am wondering if the front stub is earlier 70s GM?

Is this the proper way to install shock hardware?

Yes....and I checked both shock boxes. Same hardware in both.

Is this the proper way to install shock hardware?

Purchased on Amazon. I have seen a half dozen different pics showing shock hardware. Figured this was the best place for a quick answer. These are Bilstein btw.

Is this the proper way to install shock hardware?

Left to right...shock body to top nut? Going from airbags back to static and didn't have a reference. This is fronts, obviously.

    MALIBU Be Cool boneyard radiator

Not yet. That's the fun part. Getting ready to address the front end. Then, get a shroud on the stock 3 blade fan (lol) and we will drive it around town. Then, cooling system time and eventually wiring. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    MALIBU Be Cool boneyard radiator

I have been looking for a radiator like this one so I can swivel the upper hose on my 350 intake to the passenger side. Anyone buy one like this? Looking for a kit with radiator, fan and shroud for my project. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

What year upper arms are these?

Just looking for info on the year for the upper arms that are on the chassis. The new ones are 2wd S10 uppers.

I may need to relocate where the brake line brackets sit behind the arm on the frame of my truck. The S10 arms are more rounded on the outside and appear to bulge a bit towards the firewall. The upper may contact the bracket at full compression.

Update Ordered some s10 2wd front upper/lower arms after being told they were interchangeable. Got them here and they are a bit different. Who can tell me what year arm is on the truck? Again, I was told 81 Malibu.

I've done some forum searches. I found out the s10 Belltech 4202 drop springs that came with the truck are apparently 1" drop springs. I still can't determine if these s10 springs are a direct fit. If Moog s10 springs are shorter, I imagine a 1" s10 drop spring will actually drop things a bit...
