my question is though, If it was the dust shield wouldn’t the noise be there all the time and not just sometimes? but i’ll make sure to jack it up rn ina bit and do what you mentioned to see what’s going on
I’m sure that they’re the original ones. I don’t believe they have ever been switched out but could that really be it? to be honest this noise started becoming much more of a problem after I switched out the rotors, bearings, and brake pads so i figured it’d have something to do with that but...

I’ll cut right to the chase, my cars been making this really annoying noise and it’s coming from the front driver side wheel.

So my transmission started making this weird grinding noise, does anybody know what the cause of this could be? Everytime I shift to drive I hit around 10mp and it begins , then when I shift to reverse it sounds even louder... and yes the transmission has oil the last oil change was about 700 miles...
Yessir 4 bolt.. and yeah it's also been bored before but not to the point where it's not worth rebuilding ya know. It still has a future. What I meant by trashed is just 'thrown away' ' that was not in regards to the condition of the block itself
If anything the only thing that came damaged as...
hi fellas
I decided to start this thread in order to maybe help me build up the trashed 350 SBC I just recently got. I really want to get into the machine shop already but dont know much on how to go towards this. My plans as far as HP would be to reach 350, if possible while staying in between...
hope this helps, so where the arrows are that is where I have the disconnected lines. One of the rubber lines coming from the carb should be connected to the cleaner right? I think that's where the rubber one goes but then there's another entry for another rubber line on the cleaner, don't know...
alright guys so i found the issue. The other line coming off the carb was connected in the wrong place once i connected it to the vacuum ball itself the air started blowing out the main vents. however now i got a lose hose from the carb and I don't know know where it connects to, any ideas?
Hi guys
