Yessir that is what I believe and everytime I order a white wire coil I get a yellow one. From Summit I ordered a WHITE wire, as seen in photos, and in descritpion and it shows up yellow wire.
Okay at least that coil was labeled dr32.............
So I found a dr 31 and ordered...
My Olds is a Hurst Olds with the code R engine in the VIN and the coil replacement shows both DR31 and DR32 as replacements.
Can anyone tell me the difference which I believe may be in output.............but I can't seem to find the info anywhere.........thank you. AZ
I'll give a shout out for Ostrich's work.......between the new shaft he made and some new steering components I went from a canyon

I disconnected the cable at the cruise control and lubed both ends with some light oil while the cable end being higher than the tail
hoping gravity would help pull th elight oil down in to the cable housing.

needle bouncing from 60 to 80.....it was a fun 3.5 hour drive guessing my speed.
All the previous shake down runs were short ones but...

Okay what is a Ding How distributor..........I hope it's not like windshield washer bearings and headlight oil.............I am hoping my foolish days
are more behind me now at age 70.........
I am sure the tach is set for 8 cylinder..............the OEM and the newly installed one are both set for 8 cylinders........but you do have a good point.
Well now that you got me scratching things I can't scratch in public...........MY OEM Tach and the one I purchased and installed BOTH
do the same thing..........and the seller of the 2nd tach said it worked fine for him.
So other contributors have helped with diagnosing the tach filter and now...
