Does anyone know the difference between a DR31 and a DR32 COIL IN CAP for my 1979 OLds 350?

My Olds is a Hurst Olds with the code R engine in the VIN and the coil replacement shows both DR31 and DR32 as replacements. Can anyone tell me the difference which I believe may be in output.............but I can't seem to find the info anywhere.........thank you. AZ

How much is to be gained by removing the original cat?

Yes lack of funds is always my limiting factor, trying to stretch the dollars buying used parts and searching for the best buys. My H/O revs up but seems to hit a point where it's just trying to breathe in more and I feel the exhaust is holding it back. I'd love to put a nicely done dual cat...

Just an update, yesterday was the first real "TEST" for the H/O. Drove it over 200 miles yesterday and with the tach reading 6,000 RPM's and the speedometer needle bouncing from 60 to 80.....it was a fun 3.5 hour drive guessing my speed. All the previous shake down runs were short ones but...

Well now that you got me scratching things I can't scratch in public...........MY OEM Tach and the one I purchased and installed BOTH do the same thing..........and the seller of the 2nd tach said it worked fine for him. So other contributors have helped with diagnosing the tach filter and now...
