I first noticed it with my 2013 as someone said they've gotten slightly better but not much. I just got a quote to have my 2017 front splinter (?) guess you call it that repainted. They want $850 for that. I have less than 25k mile on the thing.

Yes sir. I replaced that filter as well. I'm now grabbing at straws, Have a buddy that's bringing me two carbs tomorrow to try, just to see if there is any difference. The thing fires right up, couldn't ask for a better running motor just taking off and up hill.

Some where on here I posted some photos of how I accomplished this. I used a floor jack and ratchet straps to install these. Didn't need a tool. I have no idea how safe or unsafe this method is but it worked great for me. Just work slowly and be careful. Hope this helps! Here's a photo.

By front section you're referring to Elco's beds correct ? but a full floor out of a 4 door would work ?

Hi, I'm restoring my 78 malibu, I need not only the full floor pan but the underside braces as well as the lower corner sections of the firewall. My question is what cars can I rob these parts from ? Will all 4 door and elco braces and firewall fit ? What about other Gbodys ? Thanks!

Got most of the interior out today, The dash, steering column and one seat belt (those bolts are a pain), is all that's left inside, got most of the trim and top off. Soon it will be off to get blasted and primed so the metal work can start. So no pix right now, but will have some more soon...

Was productive so far this long weekend. Decided to have the body blasted and epoxy primed, so I can see just how much damage is on the under side ( i know there is going to be A LOT). I found an old rear end for the old rusty frame, to send to the blasters. Needed to re-install the body back...
