Long shot but not impossible, This is an attempt to locate my old Malibu. It was originally out of Saint Louis, then in the early 2000's it went to Chicago. The last i heard it ''may'' have went to one of the Carolina's but i cannot confirm that. The lettering is now off the car but i think...

    The famous blazer up grade

Today i sourced a set of blazer spindles that were already on a 87 monte carlo in the salvage yard along with the f-41 jounce bars and 1.250 solid sway bar. Anyways, i took a stock 14'' wheel and tire off of a 78 malibu and a 86 buick regal. When I mated it to the hub by hand it lightly...

What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Scored an Explorer 4.10 trac-loc rear-end with 31 spline axles and disc brakes for a whopping $69 +$8 core and a set of 2wd s-10 spindles with calipers and brackets (for future cores) and unbent dust shields for $45. It was 62 degrees here today in the midwest. A great day to score in the...

Confused more now than when I began on parts list

Yes I was planning on cutting a higher rate spring. Even if I missed the mark by a half inch it would not be life or death for me.

Confused more now than when I began on parts list

I have absolutely no problem with the lower ride height. This can me changed with cutting just the right amount from a new set of moog springs. Intended doing this as needed anyway.

Confused more now than when I began on parts list

Man,,,, i'm pretty bummed out over the 14'' wheel limits. I've already sourced the jeep and the astro-shaft i had no idea the astro shaft wouldn't work on the 78'. I've also heard that the g-body tie rods will 'rub' the boots with the blazer spindle and brakes which i have already sourced as...

Confused more now than when I began on parts list

If it were a solid color malibu I would be all for the dog dish hubcaps. However with it being the 2-tone classic I think it would look slightly out of place.

Confused more now than when I began on parts list

Yes I am assuming the 605 steering box is what i have. Aluminum top cover Saginaw with o-ring versus the bolt on top cover found a year or two later. Original to the 78'

    Front suspension????

So are you saying if I plan on running 14'' or 15'' wheels it is best to run the tall lower ball-joint (p/n 101-10048) and a STOCK upper ball-joint to eliminate wheel interference?
