    Sweet, just talked to the guy I'm gettin the engine from and he said anything I want with the motor he'll throw in at no extra charge, plus he's going to label all the wires and bag any bolts, mounts, etc.

    Aight so the 3.8 in the bonne is done for, but I found a complete 307, carb to pan, starter, pulleys, etc... My question is, what else will I need for the swap? I'm assuming I'll need to grab the computer for the 307 correct? any chance the harness will work and I could just swap the computer?

    On last question since it's flabergasting me. Where would be a good source of vacuum for the modulator? My 307 is decomputered, and the awefull vacuum block is gone, so I was thinking perhaps one from the rear of the intake manifold?

    Just installed a rear with 3:73s in my car that previously had 3:08s. I'm pondering how far off my speedo is. And also what transmission drive gear do I need to remedy this? I've been looking around online, but no straight answers can really be found.

    well it's not from a big block, it came out of a trans am with either a 350 or 400, pretty sure it's later 70s too. And yes it worked fine on that engine, so I'm thinkin I need to just lean it out at idle a bit, and fix up my throttle cable linkage and make sure the tv cable is properly...

    yeah the carb was originaly on a pontiac 400 I think, it's now on my 307 since well it was a free non CCC q-jet.

    I'm really not keen on taking the air-horn off this thing, it's abit older and worked just fine 2 months ago on a small block pontiac. It's just abit rich at idle, and I'm sure the bog at WOT is just because the secondaries need to be adjusted to open slower.
