Do you live in Pennsylvania.POST A COMMENT

I'm from Altoona. I have an 84 Grand Prix that I started, but I haven't touched in 2-3 years. I'm currently unemployed since the beginning of January. That being said, I don't want to tie up any more $$ into the car. I may have it up for sale before long (parts or whole).

    Bathroom Project

He quoted $450 to reglaze and replace the drain stop. He had replaced the shower surround too, so my bill was higher. If you replace, just be careful of what you buy. He told me of stories about some of the cheaper tubs that are out there.

    Bathroom Project

Yes I did. The med cabinet, top, sink and vanity came for Home Depot as did the exhaust fan. The light fixture, towel and shower rods and toilet (2005) came from Lowes. As for the tub, that was re-glazed. I wasn't about to rip out the old cast iron tub. BTW, amazing what a good fan can do.

The "other" bath we have is in the basement. Well, a toilet and laundry sink. Had to keep thing up and running while this all got done.

    Bathroom Project

My kitchen remodel started as wanting to paint. Found out the wall paper was holding the horsehair plaster together. My first ever house project. Here's some before and after - 2005. Kitchen - when we moved in. The window looks into the garage. And yes it's "EZ" brick on the bottom wall...

    Bathroom Project

Vinyl roll, aka linoleum in the bathroom. I have self stick tiles in the kitchen and after 7 years starting to show their age. The air admittance valve (AAV) keeps the sewer gases out, but lets air in when needed. You need to use a "P" trap as shown and not the "S" trap (which to my...

    Bathroom Project

So, for about 6 weeks now, I have a finished bathroom. It started with a 4 A.M water leak from the toilet supply line and took just over 2 months and about $4300. Bad news is it wiped out the G-body budget and has dwindled my interest in the car. The day we moved in (Aug 2003): Before the...

    what will they restore?

I always wondered with many more electronics that cars have these days, how much restoration will take place in the future? As some of these systems age, how much after market support will there be?

Homes - are they really an investment??..and my bathroom

So I have been away from the Grand Prix since April :( . Fast forward to 3 weeks ago when I started an unplanned bathroom project that is becoming a source of frustration (started when a supply hose coupling nut to the toilet broke 430 in the morning...long story). Anyway, pulled up all the...

What to do about Off-Topic / Politics

Heck, isn't debating which engine (Chevy, Olds, etc) and which carb to run (Holley vs E-brock vs Q-Jet) kinda like debating politics and religion as it is? As for vehicle legislation updates, that is worthy of being posted. I could care less about anything else.

Just a label on the back side of the trim piece. Same part number as mentioned above.

GM 7759355 - What does this part go to?

My gut wants to say a Cadillac Fleetwood, only because he has a 68 Cadillac in his garage at his house. Getting to it....another story.

GM 7759355 - What does this part go to?

In the effort of cleaning out my pap's old shop, I came across a NOS GM part 7759355. Does anyone here have an old GM catalog and knows what this goes to? My guess is something in the 60's or early 70's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
