    Lets talk enclosed trailers....

I found older trailers to be a better deal all around. I was looking for a "heavyweight" early gooseneck. Kept my OEM list to Pace, Haulmark, or United. I was looking for finished inside, wired for 110 and 12 v, a/c equipped. Most older trailers that are well kept are worth the hunt. They...

    8.5 in rearend

This was/is a great thread. When I was in search of a 8.5, the ones that I bought were "rode hard and put away wet". It's all that was out there. And that was over 10 years ago. The first one was in a car that wound up getting stolen and never recovered. The second was a salvage yard take out...

    403 Head Question

I figured I would get some flak about Andy. Paul Tester (Tester Motorsports) is in Fairlawn NJ. He doesn't like Andy either. But he does work on Oldsmobile stuff.

    7.5" rear behind a 455?

I have run 7.5's behind hot small blocks and big blocks. Open, posi, and a powertrax equiped unit. The one that broke? Behind a 307 Olds ! Had 4.56's in it and a bit of wheel hop knocked teeth off the ring and pinion.

TPI in a Monte Carlo SS

I love when these old threads comeback. I'm in the middle of doing a long time swap. I'm using all Factory harness, and I'm just having a heck of a time pinning out the c100 bulkhead connector. it's all good though I can't wait when it's done.

Rusty (new) cam - Anybody have experience polishing cam journals?

Actually most lobes are treated by a process called "Parkerizing". Its a chemical process that helps resistance to wear. The "break in" process (2500 for 30 min.) does the rest. Or at least thats what the machine shop owner told me. Cool score.

    Most Common G-Body Problems

That problem of rain on the floor in the passenger side footwell. I have yet to come up with the right fix for that. And I have owned 6 of these cars (2 currently). The B pillar crack from the previous owner putting a BBC in it with no chassis reinforcement. Siliconed it to keep the rain out.

    Transmission Lines Again

As far as which tube goes where it will work either way. The "cooler" ports in the radiator for the transmission also brings the fluid up to temperature faster when it's chilly out.

    Electronic Speedo Conversion PIC HEAVY!!!!!!!

This thread looks like it will solve a problem that I have. Currently doing a much older swap, a L-98 TPI from an 87 Pontiac GTA into my 87 Grand Prix. The doner had an electric speedometer, which I couldn't figure out how to swap. The 4 pulse signal also tells the ECU when the car is at hiway...
