    83-86 Hurst,442 OEM Tailpipes

You beat me to it. I bought a set of these 2.5" a few years ago for my 86 Cutlass Brougham, looked good, but sold that whole project.

    83' Hurst Battery?

You need to get the 78 series Interstate 6 year warranty battery, it doesn't have a logo on the terminal side, and is the correct white. And it'll works with the $85 Freedom II topper.

Torque! Rocket power vs LS power

If I wanted Chevy power I'd own a SS, buy I like Oldsmobile, so my 442 is Olds powered, and loving it. Perfectly happy with my SBO wearing 50yr old steel heads, ancient HYD Cam, and fueled by a carb, even drinking pump gas making a true 455hp/450tq. Wonder what it would make with porting, or...

    374 Olds 350 stroker build

SpeedMaster heads? I hope you had Bernard Mondello go over them, and not just bolting them on out of the box. Why not go bigger bore unless it’s ‘77 or newer block.

    307 bad head gasket

I can't believe the head gasket blew at only 60M, My 83 H/O has 325M with the original, but I've replaced the intake gaskets three times, and replaced timing chain with a Cloyes dbl roller, and my 86 442 had 265M with original head gaskets, but intake gasket replaced twice, as well replaced...

    374 Olds 350 stroker build

You'll like it. I'm thrilled with my pump gas 374 SBO with 7A steel heads, hyd cam, 9.7:1, 750 Holley. It out does SBC 383's with their Alum heads, and roller cams!

    CUTLASS Which timing chain set?

Years ago when the Intake gasket let go at 90M I added a Cloyes dbl roller and new cam/lifters in my '83, and at 325M still no issue, and pops right off. But Rollmaster CS7041 timing set is the best. Otherwise go with Cloyes True Double Roller 9-3513X9.
