Adding anything non original to an original car automatically lowers the value. It took me awhile not to do anything non original to my car but it's my car and I will never sell it. So the value really doesn't matter to me as long as I'm happy with my car.
I understand that, my operates on vacuum as well but is there a heater valve i can use besides the one that was on my 307? My fittings on my eldebrock intake are different from my 307 intake. I can't use the stock heater valve.

I think the red is your main, the green is your return and the third is your vent that goes to the charcoal canister? That's how my cutlass fuel lines are ran.
