pic of the engine finally installed. in the past year i've been laid off and had to sell my house, and moved twice. I found a new job and have finally been able to score some time on the cutlass. sorry for the shitty cell phone pics.

2.5 is what im thinking also. GMPP recommends 2.5 in exhaust. I scrapped the plans of building a hi- perf. 383 later down the road, and want to eventually drop in a olds 455. this crate engine will be fine in the meantime, and when I do the 455 olds swap I'll already have the 2.5" exhaust. BTW...

Well, It's been a while, but i went with the hooker shorty headers. The muffler shop dude is recommending 2.25" exhaust. does that sound right? Some quick specs: 86 Cutlass GMPP 350/290 crate engine Hooker shorty headers. Modified/reinforced crossmember to allow for true dual exhaust. Summit...

Heavy duty-type radiator, for an 86 Cutlass w/SBC GMPP 350/290 crate engine, with A/C. aluminum is not necessary, My water pump is a Milodon high flow, 16212 if that helps. just need this for daily driver app. P/N and price would be great,Thanks.

looking for front/rear shocks for 86 cutlass supreme w/sbc 350, also springs, frt/rear. i'd like a possibly lower stance, definitely geared towards performance. Just wondering what you recommend, and/or any good deals going on right now for the parts,with Part number(s), thanks!

15x8 Rallies/Firestone indy 500 tires 235/60/15 all the way around on my 86. I like them ok, but they're just temporary until i find some 15x7 olds rallies or 442 wheels. They were better than what came on the car(rusty *ss monte wheels in near-relic condition). IMO, do what you like, it's your car.

Yeah, with the curl bar it was like "hey, i wonder if this would-well, hell yeah!" lol. My grandmother's gonna be pissed when she finds out i took her GOOD curl bar and ruined it LMAO. Necessity is the mother of invention :lol:

Are there any of these wires or vacuum attachments that i can toss or hide? What size torque conv. should i use for this engine? the Trans. is a TH350(stock) i plan to add a shift kit also,any recommendations? Hard shifts as possible would be nice, without tearing sh*t up. Part numbers are...
