Remember the paint and body work was never that good from the factory average at best. I know you have a eye for detail and are most likely looking for show paint V...
Like others have said lead is not used to fill rust holes it is like any other filler in that it is to be used to cover minor imperfections in body seams.
If you want to do a cheep and dirty repair use your fiberglass filler.

I have a 8.5 that I just sold the diff did not come with u joint straps or bolts.
Are the 7.5 bolts/straps the same as the 8.5 bolts and straps?
Are they just as strong?

The hurst wheels are very cool and I think they will look good on a olds G body
I will buy a top plate off you as well as one bracket, the one that holds the shifter to the console.If the price is right and you keep up the quality.So far the quality looks great keep up the good work.

Nice patch on the quarter.
1. Make sure that you have all the rust out of the pits.
2. You can do this with a spot blaster that has a recovery nozzle.
3. Epoxy prime before you fill.
4. Use a fiberglass fine strand fill it seals and is moisture resistant,it is harder to work but is far better...
