    Before you get too far......boat engines can be useless to anything other than a boat. I dont know year and model you got that block from but there are many cases of GM and Ford engines in boats that run in reverse rotation. Before you spend a boatload on that boat motor you better fire it up...

    Id agree with this except excluding the GN. For me the v6 and at its highest in 1986-87 produced 245 hp iirc compared to 200 hp v8 for a monte ss puts them in the same category - great platfrom with lots of potential.

    x2 - intake manifold. Having it on the neck you may get some signifigant varaitions depending on the t-stat being open or closed that wont neccesarily represent actual engine temp.

They had to lose the inner fenders which may or may not apply with your different body. That truck, that small, with that 400 was not driveable unless the roads...

    Im sure you can get creative somehow...maybe paint them to match the color of your car instead of stainless and get the ones that are smaller and less noticeable.

    Just make sure you take the springs out of your hood hinges and Id stringly recommend using pins - the latches can let go of the fiberglass at speeds and end up right across your windsheild.

    I would say no...th350 is a good choice and parts are really cheap as long as you dont want the extra gear. If you do want od use a 200r4 or 700 and thats personal preference in most cases.

    I think that "fit" is relative when talking about a BB with long tubes in these cars. If the car is lowered at all the flanges will rub on speed bumps and the like and they hang too low for my taste.
