Hey Guys, looking for any help on what shocks to go with on my 78 elky. Has a 427, bored .30 over, lunati cam, 850 holly, and 125hp shot of juice. Need a front and rear shock set up for the track and street. Anybody have any idea on brands and types. Thanks :bump:

Hey Guys, Anybody have an idea where the tachometer wire is on the stock analog dash of my 87' GN. It is working intermittently and I think the connection is either loose or partially broke. Problem is I cant find the wire that goes to distributor. Any help would be appreciated.

Family, That looks like the horn relay to me, could be wrong. But I know it has three terminals like that one. Without that you aint gonna honk.lol

Hey Blake, excellent demo with taking the moldings off. I just got mine powder coated and have to put them back on. Any tips on how to do it, hate to screw them up. Thanks

I just did the same swap and have the same problem. I am going to look into the sending units. They were changed for gauges but I am running a BB and have to find out the compatibility. Let me know how you make out.

Thanks for the advice liquid. I put all the white bulbs back in and it is still dull.lol. I will take the shadow box back off and line the back with the tape your talking about, have it in the garage.

Thanks guys, but does the dust cover come off with the lock plate or before. That is where I am confused. How do you take the dust cover off w/o the lock plate, or does it.

Can anybody tell me how to remove the lock plate dust cover off a 1978 el camino. Can't figure how to get it off. I have the instructions to take the column off to replace the shift sleeve, but all it is is remove the dust cover. HOW?????

No thanks but does not help. The olds cluster has two plugs, the el camino has one. That would have helped with the pin numbers because that is the other problemwith the conversion from malibu.
