    Shock help

I'd spend money on drag radials and an anti-roll bar first.

Corvette C5 Brakes on Stock G-Body Spindle

Press in the longer studs before you cut down the old rotor. You'll have more meat left and will be less prone to cracking.

    fuel injection conversion

I'd use a fuel pump hotwire kit for a turbo Buick and then all you need to add is a 12v wire to enable the fuel pump relay. Most efi ecms have a fuel pump relay control output.

    AC notch or relocation?

    98-02 f-body ls1 engine mounts. I used poly ones.

    AC notch or relocation?

I'm glad to answer any questions.. 1. The spohn mounts position in a very similar position to the 1" setback plates. I don't have any measurements based off any stock mounting points. However, I did use the same driveshaft that I was using with setback plates. 2. I did not modify or hack the...

    AC notch or relocation?

I used spohn swap mounts. You cannot use plate style mounts with a low mount compressor. The plates occupy the same space as the compressor.

    AC notch or relocation?

Yes, the truck spacing allows the low mount compressor to clear without a notch. I have nearly an inch of clearance.

    AC notch or relocation?

No need to notch if you're using a truck accessory drive. The compressor easily clears the frame.

    LQ4 value

If it comes with the complete accessory drive and starter, I would say $500 tops. That is a lot of miles.

I've used the carshop plates in a cutlass swap and the truck high mount alternator cleared just fine. Im not sure if the Malibu has less height though?

    6.0L Mileage with Highway Gears

I had a 85 cutlass in 2011 with a cammed lq9 and t56 and 3.73 rear. With that car, I've had highway trips with 27 mpg. Even trips to the dragstrip with multiple runs down the track yielded low 20s mpg. Now, I have a 5.3, 4l80e, 3.25 rear car and the gas mileage seems much lower, however I...

    5.3 quick upgrades

The later 5.3 is a decent platform to start with. There isn't much to be gained by upgrading the intake or heads. The aftermarket intakes don't flow much better than the 07+ truck intakes. They are actually very decent. This goes for the heads as well. The 07+ 5.3s come with 243 or 799 heads...

    85 cutlass street/strip

Looks like a sweet build. Are you throwing any boost at the ly6? I see you are going to run a 10 point cage.

    confused??????

Due to the inconsistent 14-20 second ETs, it sounds like you may be having a fuel problem.

Decided on a 5.3 swap, gathering my thoughts.

If you use the 4.3 TBI fuel pump, you would need to upgrade the pump to a higher pressure pump. The grand national fuel pump should be up to the task of supporting a stock. Yes, the fuel injected tanks are a direct swap into all g-bodies except el caminos and wagons. If you are going to use the...
