I'm looking at an 87 Aerocoupe. I think I can get it at a pretty good price. I only want to fix it up and sell it. I know they're pretty rare. Would it be an easy sell? Is there any interest?
If you want to test it use jumper cables. Clamp the negative to the body of the solenoid and touch the positive to the wire. Or you could use a piece of wire. Just connect it the same.
Re: Nitro and Electric RC Trucks, Truggies, Short Course, et
I got an Associated RC10T3 (electric). Just switched it over to brushless now looking for some cheap LiPos. And I have and Associated RC10GT (Nitro) with an O.S. Max CRV .18 engine. Pretty fast. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
Re: My 1984 Monte SS build thread
Nice cars. I can't believe nobody commented on the wagon. Maybe you could hav slammed it a little more so it would get noticed. :P
I have one under my car port right now. I can't find parts for it and anything I do find is real expensive. I don't want to scrap it because I know somebody could use it. I almost have no choice right now. It's just taking up space. I just got an 8.5 from a friend and thats going in my Cutlass.
New springs was the way to got. They do wear out after almost 30 years. New springs will lift you up enough for 22's for sure. Unless you have big tires. Q-Dub should be able to answer any rim questions you have.
Who did your seats? I can do everything else but I need some help on the seats. You did it all yourself? Nice work either way. Keep the updates coming.
I got a call from the machine shop friday about my engine block. The block is cracked too badly. A sleeve wont do it. I need a whole new block. How do you spell pissed? There it is!
