Im in San Antonio TX I need to redo the carb and pressure wash it but it runs all accesories and brackets and the 307 exhaust manifold $500 and its gone
i tried to sell it but the car was in such bad shape. I did pull the motor out of it. It will be easier to sell the engine vs the car its a 300 hp olds 350 if anyone is interested. I had plans to fix it up but things just kept coming up or going wrong. So I let it go. I found a 66 cutlass...
Well I got rid of my 83 cutlass took it to a scrap yard cause they were the only ones who would give me anything for it. But now I feel bad as if I sinned
I don't drive the 83 anymore it was a daily driver. Now its used as a shelf in my garage. I put a 350 rocket in it and planned to redo it. But i always wanted a 60s or early 70s cutlass. So Ima pulled out the 350 and sell it and let the body go for cheap. I have a 455 in the machine shop...
they will cost the same to buildup but the 455 will give you more power and torque. the 403 is easier to put in but the 455 isnt that much harder its just getting the correct motor mounts the big block mainfolds fits with no problem in a gbody if you want headers dick miller have the kooks that...
I'm sure this has been asked several times. But I was checking out the ez fast efi system and I'm kinda considering using it. It cost more won't give me any significant gains in power. But I don't have to make any adjustment except the initial adjustment. Idle is much better, its good for...
This is wear this discussion get interesting cause how many of you Chevy guys are real Chevy guys and how many are just d*ck riding. Real Chevy guys know about the engine and how to buid it. The chevy D*ck riders just know they got a sbc with a big ole cam and it makes a rumputy rump sound...
As a olds guy ima have to say olds. But that's because you are almost forced to build an olds engine correctly. There is no $2500 crate motors in every magazine for olds. You need to make sure it is machine correctly understand the weaknesses of olds engine and address them right. End result...
so you guys think the 8.5 is reliable with street tires. I will act a fool and do burnouts and donuts. No use in lying so it needs to handle the abuse which is why the 9 in is for sure safety. But I have heard good things about the 8.5 and its cheaper
I'd get a new one and have it balanced at the machine shop. Oldsmobile engines cost to much to take shortcuts. If you still have the old balancer and flexplate. You can try matching the weights in the correct place. But just do it right cause a out if balance engine will feel funny
U can't go wrong with a LT engine I have a 94 caddy fleetwood with a LT1 the car has 200000 miles and still hauls *ss and were talking a 5000 lbs luxury car.
Plus the gbody is cool as hell. You can do em up any kind of way and they still look good. Muscle car, lowrider, full custom trailer queen or a daily driver in stock trim. I think they will start holding a value like a 60s or early 70s muscle car in the future. It's the last 2 door full...
