you think your pissed about that goin for cash for clunkers, hot rod magazine tallied up the nice cars that went down in that
blaze of BS and someone actually sacrificed a GNX for 3500 bucks toward something that will never be worth as much.

Re: Anyone ever have a Ford Ranger?
my 4.3 auto 92 longbed s10 would get me about 22mpg highway at around 70-75mph. that was with 3.42 gears though. that was a fun truck and took my whippings well so long as i kept up on it.
is it a flap in the snorkel? if its the one where the chimney pipe coming up from the manifold connects then as the car warms up it opens. its a fuel atomization mechanism i believe. changes the airflow as the engine warms up.
ive been debating picking up a wagon soon, the only problem is itd be my daily driver and my current car gets, more than likely, much better mileage than a 350 swapped wagon haha. nonetheless they are pretty sweet wagons and are fantastic platforms for builds.
I've been an Oldsmobile guy all my life, and since I already have a Poncho A-body as a long term project, someday Ill have to get a Cutlass for a daily, just gotta make it cost effective first.
open differentials are cheaper to make and make the diff a little lighter. limited slip diffs lend way more traction. nowadays some of the higher end cars have electronic locking diffs that lock up if stability control or whatever sees tire slipping during acceleration.
all i meant when saying that you generally increase stroke to increase torque is that thats the best way to get more displacement out of the engine as opposed to boring it.
