Life has been a struggle been dealing with my PTSD and depression. 20 years ago this month I returned home from Afghanistan and I haven't been the same since. But I always have my Cutlass to tinker on so I can hopefully keep my mind busy. I recently upgraded to Holley EFI and let me tell you...
Just like the title says....got a little carried away with my die-grinder. Now its time to take it to my Machine shop. Going to have it bored out .030, add splayed main caps and then have it Decked.
Haven't found a DX engine close enough to me to build. But I stumbled across this SBC 400 I can tinker with this winter. It was all stock never been rebuilt. It's the 509 block 2 bolt main. From what I can tell after the research I did this block is supposed to be stronger then the 4 bolt Main...
I used to frequently visit this site and it full of smart Olds only kind of guys. Sad to see its gone! Any old Oldspower member transplants on here? https://web.archive.org/web/20060717015905/http://www.oldspower.com/
I bought this transmission and bolted it up to my 383. It was advertised for 600hp and was suppose to be a street strip package. Well needless to say it couldnt even handle a burnout with drag radials for more then 10 passes. My last run with it I lost second gear during the burnout. I was not...
Here is a short Video of a cold start with Terminator throttle body EFI. Can't get over how fast it starts and by the throttle response. Thanks for Watching!

I recently purchased my First truck. I bought a used 2004 Chev Silverado 2500 HD with 6.0. First time owning a LS based engine and I went kinda crazy with upgrades. I will let the pics tell the story. http://s159.photobucket.com/user/nascarforever3_2002/embed/slideshow/Mobile%20Uploads
It's been a busy year for me trying to make my car look better and go faster. I retired my ZZ4 after 6 yrs of thrashing on it. I decided to upgrade to a HT383 block and reused my AFR 210cc heads and used a different bump stick. Had it broke in on a Dyno and it ran 490hp and 462 on torque. Not to...
After some upgrades to the bone stock ZZ4, I made my first ever pass on my car. It also was my first time ever at a track. Managed to bring home a 2nd place trophy in Street Eliminator class. Need a taller stall and needed a bigger carb. I already installed a 850 Holley DP which made a...
I went to my local 1/8th mile track on Sunday. My car was untested and I passed my tech inspection. So I entered into the race and I placed 2nd in the Street Eliminator class. I lost to a 79 elco but I managed to beat a 78 Cutlass on the first round. I will be going back in 2 weeks in hopes to...
Thinking about adding this to my 350 and not sure if the lines can be shortened. I have the Super Vic intake with the rear cooling ports on it. Want to run hose to the ports, I believe this kit is setup to run to the temp sensor ports in the heads. And what I mean by shortened.....is can the...
Here is my ZZ4 stock lower end with AFR 210cc heads with comp Mutha thumpa cam and Victor Jr Intake. Holley 770 carb and Msd distributor and wires. I will post more specs if anyone is interested.
Ok guys need your help with the slip style header collectors. I have only used the 3" hole flange style with gaskets. Now not sure how to connect the exhaust to the headers. My exhaust pipes are 3 inch and the Schoenfeld collectors are 3.5". Any help will be appreciated.
Now with the upgrades to my SBC 350 thinking the 1 5/8 headers are not going to cut it anymore. So what are my options for Large tube long tube headers? Thanks in advance guys!
